The shooting occurred at 2 a.m. Thursday, as the victims were walking south in the 3900 block of 30th Street. An unknown man walked up behind them and began firing a handgun, according

Police said the attack appeared to be unprovoked. There was no physical altercation or verbal exchange prior to the gunfire, and neither victim knew the suspect, they added.
A 42-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his left foot and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 33-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his hand and declined medical treatment, the department reported.
The suspect fled the scene on foot following the shooting and remained at large. He was described as a man in his 20s wearing a black hat, a black T-shirt and black jeans.
