(CNN)– Inventories of diesel in the U.S. are at their lowest levels for this time of the year in three decades. That as conflict in the Middle East as well as the Russia-Ukraine war continue to crunch supply. AAA reports the average price for a gallon of diesel is $5.40 as of Thursday, August 1 3.
