Delaware State Police are investigating after an armed suspect forcibly took money from a victim at a Wilmington movie theater. Police said troopers were called to the Regal Brandywine Town Center, located at 3300 Brandywine Parkway, around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 7, 2026, after receiving a report of an armed robbery. An investigation revealed that a suspect approached a victim and demanded cash while displaying a handgun, according to police. When the victim initially refused, police said the suspect forcibly took the victim’s money and fled the area. The victim was not injured.
