BATON ROUGE mdash; A duplex caught fire off Old Hammond Highway on Thursday, resulting in two people being hospitalized.Firefighters from both the East Side and Baton Rouge fire departments responded to the fire in a set of duplexes along Azalea Park Drive. Baton Rouge Fire officials said their cre ws arrived at 10:34 a.m.According to East Side Fire Department officials, the fire is still under investigation, but it likely started in the kitchen of one of the units.nbsp;A resident told WBRZ that a husband and wife got taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.
