HAMMOND - A 14-year-old was arrested for bringing two BB guns to a Hammond middle school inside his book bag on Wednesday.nbsp;The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said the teen was a student at Hammond Eastside Upper School.nbsp;TPSO said that a different student told a teacher that the 14-year- old had a gun in his school bag. A school resource officer reportedly immediately took the student and his possessions into custody.nbsp;Deputies said while there were no threats associated with the incident, the school was placed under a brief lockdown.nbsp;The teenager was booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center on two counts of illegal possession of a firearm.nbsp;Permalink| Comments ...read more read less
