A man was arrested and is facing several charges after breaking into cars along Pennypack Trail, according to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department. Two people contacted police on Oct. 18, 2025, and reported that they had parked their cars at a lot at Pennypack Trail. When they went ba ck to their cars, they found that they had been rummaged through and their credit and debit cards had been taken, police said. Then, unauthorized transactions were charged to the two people’s stolen cards, officials explained. Detectives reported that they ultimately identified Jaime Natal Burgos as the suspect so a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arraigned in May 2026 and charged with theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking and other related charges.
