Lincoln Police Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 10)–Lincoln Police are investigating a stabbing that happened shortly before 1am Sunday, after officers found the victim at the U-Stop off of 1st and ‘O” Street. According to LPD public information manager Erika Thomas, a 27-year -old Lincoln man was stabbed in the area of 1st and “M” Street, after he and another man were approached by an unknown man. The suspect and soon went asking for help. The victim was stabbed twice in the chest by the unknown man, who then left. The other man was not hurt. The victim was taken to a Lincoln hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
