A man and a woman are dead after a fatal shooting that stemmed from a domestic disturbance in Denton on Sunday afternoon. Denton police said the shooting happened around 2:35 p.m. when authorities responded to the 1900 block of N. Bell Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting. First respon ders found a man and woman with apparent gunshot wounds when they arrived at the scene. Both were declared dead at the scene, officials said. Police said this appears to be an isolated incident with no threat to the public. Officials plan to release the victims’ identities and the relationship between them once their next-of-kin have been notified of their deaths.
