As part of its “Hydration Kits for Unsung Heroes” effort, the Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center staff has compiled over 500 hydration kits to give out for free. These kits are available to outdoor workers and first responders, including mail carriers, delivery drivers, lawn crews, construct ion workers, and public employees. Registration is required, and recipients must present a work ID badge upon receipt. The kits include cooling towels, neck fans, bottled water, and insulated coolers; they are available Monday-Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to training for athletics and life skills, the center also offers resources to help prevent evictions and pay utility bills. The center is supported by the Mark Cuban Foundation, the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation, and the Heroes Foundation.
