One man was killed and another was injured in an early morning shooting in North Philadelphia, police said. The shooting happened near 8th and Oxford streets just after 3 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026. A 32-year-old man was killed in the shooting, according to police. A 35-year-old man was als o shot and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
