Saturday was the second day of the Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco. To help ease traffic, attendees were advised not to drive to the festival, and the city offered extra Muni service and restricted Waymo pickups. It’s the 18th year of the Outside Lands, and 75,000 fans are expecte d each day of the sold-out three-day festival. Extra Muni service will run before and after the festival in addition to regular service. There are designated rideshare and taxi areas, autonomous vehicles are restricted to rides a few blocks away from the festival; the plan comes a month after a drivers were caught in late night traffic on the Fourth of July in the city.
