Dallas' Perot Museum of Nature and Science to add $90 million expansion

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas is growing.
The museum said this week they will be adding a fourth-level parking garage, a covered walkway to the main entrance, and additional event space with more restrooms.
The project is being privately funded and will cost around $90 milli
on, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The TDLR website said construction is expected to begin Jan. 1, 2027, and finish Jan. 1, 2029.
The museum was last renovated in 2020, when construction reimagined the warehouse and office space.
The museum opened its facility in Victory Park in December 2012, but has roots in Dallas going back nearly 100 years. The museum was created from the 2006 merger of The Dallas Museum of Natural History (1936), The Science Place (1946), and the Dallas Children’s Museum (1995).
