Flights heading to Philadelphia International Airport may be held at their departure airports amid a ground stop issued due to thunderstorms, according to the FAA’s Air Traffic Control System Command Center. Officials said the ground stop is in effect until 3 p.m. Arriving flights at PHL wer e being delayed an average of 1 hour and 16 minutes, according to officials.
