Four people, including an infant, were injured in a four-vehicle crash involving an ambulance late Thursday on Interstate 57 in south suburban Calumet Park, officials. The crash happened around 11 p.m. and involved an ambulance, a pickup truck and two passenger cars, Illinois State Police said. Offi cials did not provide medical conditions for the injured people. An infant was in the ambulance at the time of the crash. The ambulance driver was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.Inbound lanes of I-57 were closed for an investigation and reopened just before 3 a.m. Friday, according to state police.
