Aug 07, 2026
Fort Worth Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man whose body was found last month near railroad tracks in the West Meadowbrook neighborhood.
Police said the man’s body was found on July 6 in the 2000 block of East Lancaster Avenue, not far from Sycamore Creek. Investigators
said the condition of the body prevented them from making a positive identification.
The man was described as Black with several distinctive tattoos. An artist’s rendering depicted some of the man’s tattoos to help identify him.
From the photos, the man appeared to have the name “Stella” written on his right forearm and the letter K on his left bicep. A number of other tattoos were inked across his chest.
Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to call the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4429 and reference case 26-0055305.
