6:30 PM Weather 8-5-26 INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Our pattern of quiet weather is beginning to change across Indiana as the upper level pattern will send weak wave after weak wave through the state over the next week WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Expect increasing clouds with a chance for showers later tonig ht, closer to daybreak Thursday morning mainly for western Indiana. Lows will fall into the mid and upper 60s. THURSDAY: The best chance for rain and few isolated rumbles of thunder will be in the morning hours, once again, across western Indiana. Otherwise, our Thursday looks fairly cloudy with a chance for an isolated shower or downpour in the afternoon. Highs will be a touch cooler in the low 80s. THURSDAY NIGHT: Cloudy skies with a stray shower or two around. Lows will still be mild in the upper 60s to low 70s. FRIDAY: As we begin the Indiana State Fair, it looks like day one will feature scattered showers and storms on and off at times. Not a completely dry day but the rain jacket will be needed if you plan on going. Highs will be around average in the mid 80s. 7 DAY FORECAST: For Saturday, most of the day looks dry under a mix of sunshine and clouds with temperatures in the mid 80s. There is a chance for a few pop up storms. Mostly sunny skies and once again a chance for a few pop up showers and storms are in the forecast for Sunday. Highs will remain in the mid 80s as we end the weekend. Besides a shower or two across northern Indiana, Monday looks mostly sunny and dry with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
