Truck crashes into parked cars in Fort Worth, causing damage to house
Aug 02, 2026
A family in East Fort Worth wants to find the driver who hit two cars parked in their driveway and left. The parked cars collided with their home on Haynes Avenue.
Surveillance video shows a black truck slamming into them.
Fortunately, no one inside was hurt.
“I’ve seen my dad build
this house from top to bottom, the fence, everything,” Rosalinda Garcia, whose family home was hit by that truck, said. “I just feel like it’s emotional because people put in the hard work just for one person to mess it up for all.”
Garcia, who lives with her parents and siblings, was in disbelief.
“I’m just like wondering, like what was he trying to do?” Garcia asked.
Their home security cameras were able to catch a woman being dropped off, then seconds later the truck collided with their cars.
“Thankfully, nobody was sleeping on the couch or anything,” Garcia said.
The cars hit the side of the house where Garcia’s brother, his wife, and her nephew live.
The bricks of the home smashed in, and parts of the wall cracked inside.
Garcia said she was the first to wake up and run outside.
“And I’d just seen the truck taking off,” Garcia said.
The family was able to find the bumper from the car that they think hit their vehicle on the street.
Garcia said her family turned it and the footage over to police, who said they’re now investigating.
“Just show up and face what you did, because it’s not OK,” Garcia said. “We cannot let it get to us.”
Police did not confirm if anyone has been arrested yet.
