A man was arrested in connection with two homicides and an assault with firearm that occurred between July 28 and Saturday, the police department said on Sunday. On July 28, police said they responded to a report of gunfire at around 8:05 p.m. in the 1400 block of Enterprise Street. There, author ities said the victim reported that a man shot at him before running away. According to police, the victim was not injured. Hours later, at around 10:27 p.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of Sonoma Boulevard after receiving a report of an unresponsive man found within an encampment. At the scene, officers found a man with a gunshot wound who was later pronounced deceased by EMS, according to authorities. On Saturday, at around 9:14 a.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of Sonoma Boulevard after receiving a report of an unresponsive man in a parking lot. At the scene, police said they found a man with at least a gunshot wound, who was later pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS. The police department said 30-year-old Angel Castillo Ramirez was identified as the suspect. Authorities said Ramirez was arrested after being recognized by a witness at around 4:49 p.m. Police said Ramirez was advised of his Miranda Rights and agreed to speak with detectives, admitting to committing both homicides and the assault with a firearm on July 28. Ramirez was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of murder and assault with a deadly weapon involving a firearm, according to the police department.
