The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating two separate incidents of human remains, including those of a baby, found in two different locations on Saturday. Just after 8:30 a.m., Fire/EMS and sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of an infant that had been locat ed near the 100 block of Struve Road, near Moss Landing, in north Monterey County, according to authorities. Officials said the fire personnel confirmed the infant was deceased. More than an hour later, at around 9:55 a.m., deputies went to the 400 block of Old Stage Road in Salinas after a county employee found what appeared to be human remains, according to the sheriff’s office.
