Residents across San Diego County reported feeling movement from a 3.0 earthquake near the Palomar Observatory on Friday afternoon. The earthquake struck around 1:10 p.m. in a mountainous area just northeast of Pauma Valley, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It had a depth of about 9 mile s.
