A "possible security threat" that prompted the closure of Denver International Airport's Level 6 West has been cleared, airport officials said at 6:41 p.m.Airport officials announced the area  including the west security checkp oint and departures area was closed due to a possible threat just after 5:30 p.m."West Level 6 will reopen and begin normal operations momentarily, including the West Security Checkpoint, departures area and United check-in counters," officials said in the 6:41 p.m. post.During the closure, airport officials told passengers to use Level 6 East for all departure processing and security screening.Airport, TSA and Denver police officials have not responded to requests for more information about the potential threat and what prompted the area's closure.
