File photo courtesy of the Nebraska State Patrol.LINCOLN–(KFOR July 31)–A 22-year-old Sterling man is in the Lancaster County Jail, after a series of traffic offenses that led to him crashing into the doors of the Lincoln Train Station at 7th and “P” around 2am Friday. Nebraska State Patrol media spokesperson Cody Thomas tells KFOR News a state trooper saw a car going the wrong way down “Q” Street, before turning the wrong way onto 10th Street and drove past the trooper and a UNL police cruiser with its lights on. “So then the Ford Fusion turned westbound onto “P” Street, drove down the hill into the Haymarket and immediately crashed into Lincoln Station,” Thomas said. After the crash, Thomas said both the trooper and officer checked on the occupants and called Lincoln Fire and Rescue for help.  Both occupants of the Ford Fusion were taken to Bryan West Campus with non-life threatening injuries. Thomas says Levi Epp was arrested for DUI, refusal to submit to a DUI pretest, while carrying a concealed handgun while under the influence, among other offenses.   9:04am Friday   LINCOLN–(KFOR July 31)–There are few details at this hour regarding an overnight crash, where a vehicle hit the Lincoln Train Station Building at 7th and “P” Street in the Haymarket around 2am Friday. The Nebraska State Patrol confirmed to KFOR News there were no major injuries reported and it appears this was DUI related. No other details were available.
