SUMTER CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Sumter County deputies arrested a man accused of intentionally crashing a vehicle on Monday. Tathan Rabon, 22, is charged with attempted murder. According to investigators, Rabon was given a ride by an acquaintance, when he took control of the steering wheel and crashed the vehicle on Boots Branch Road at 9:56 p.m. Deputies say Rabon attempted to cause a fatal accident. He was arrested after being released from the hospital. Authorities say the driver is in critical but stable condition.
