Police have released surveillance footage in the hopes of tracking down vandals that, police say, drove through North Philly on Tuesday and smashed over a dozen windows on vehicles along the street. On Thursday morning, police shared surveillance video of this incident on social media. A ccording to police, this footage was captured at about 4:15 a.m. in the early hours of Tuesday, July 28, 2026, after vandals smashed windows on at least 16 different vehicles along the 4800 block of North 12th Street in Philly’s Logan community. In the footage, at that time, a man can be seen leaning out the passenger side window of a black vehicle, that police said was a Honda sedan, as it stops regularly next to vehicles on the block. Officials said the vandals were captured on camera as they broke windows in every vehicle — a total of 16 of them — parked along the eastbound side of North 12th Street. After leaving the block, officials said, the vehicle was last seen headed southbound on the 5000 block of Camac Street.
