An investigation is underway, officials said, after a delivery driver was shot in Northern Liberties overnight. According to police, the incident happened at about 1 a.m. near the intersection of 6th and Spring Garden streets when a delivery driver was shot in the hand. This victim, police sa id, was taken to the hospital following the shooting. At the scene, a car that had been hit several times by gunfire — including through the driver’s side window — could be seen as officers investigated this incident. However, officials did not immediately detail how this shooting may have unfolded and did not initially provide further information about any individuals sought in this incident.
