(CNN)– The Federal Aviation Administration is proposing inspections of passenger seats on hundreds of Boeing jets. Regulators say some seats on certain 7-37 max models may have been installed incorrectly. The issue could pose a potential safety risk during an emergency landing or evacuation. Th e proposal would affect 453 U.S. registered jets. That represents more than half of the nation’s 7-37 max fleet, according to aviation data firm, IBA.
