The National Weather Service released an updated flash flood warning at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in effect until 5:30 p.m. for Sullivan County."At 2:30 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain has fallen. The expected rainfal l rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," states the weather service.
