INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Quiet weather continues for the middle of the week. Our next rain storm chance will come late Friday into the weekend.
TUESDAY NIGHT:
Mainly clear comfortable. Lows in the lower 60s and 50s.
WEDNESDAY:
Mostly sunny
skies are expected, but elevated smoke from wildfires out west will likely lead to hazy skies. Highs should top on in the low 80s to mid 80s across most of Indiana. Conditions look really good for the first day of Colts training camp at Grand Park.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
Mostly clear comfortable. Lows in the lower 60s and 50s.
THURSDAY:
Partly cloudy and seasonably warm. Highs in the mid 80s.
FRIDAY:
Partly cloudy with a late day chance of a few showers and storms. Highs in the mid to upper 80s.
WEEKEND:
An upper-level disturbance will come in from the northwest and give Indiana a chance of scattered showers and storms.
Highs around 80 may be the best we can do if we end up with more clouds and areas of rain. This system has the potential to produce some heavy rain in parts of the region. The severe threat will continue to be evaluated. The disturbance may become “cutoff” from the main flow early next week and keep the chance of rain going for some of us until the middle of next week.
