Local, state and federal authorities are searching for two teenagers accused of fatally shooting a young woman inside her Forney home Sunday afternoon in the presence of a child. Police identified the suspects as 18-year-old Jakob East-Walker and 19-year-old Mysiah Clark. Clark is also charged wi th murder in an unrelated Dallas shooting. “First of all, you’re talking about two cowards. Two cowards. Two cowards that left this area after killing somebody that need to be caught,” Forney Police Chief Carrie White said. “One has already done it before. My recommendation if someone comes across them is notify the police department immediately, no matter what city they’re in.” Police said East-Walker and Clark knew the victim and other people who were at the home on Eagle Ridge. White did not disclose what led to the shooting. The two suspects, who have ties to Dallas and Mesquite, reportedly fled the area on foot. Investigators believe they later left in a vehicle. “We are pretty sure that they hopped in a vehicle of some sort, whether that’s an Uber driver or somebody called somebody to come pick them up,” White said. Clark was scheduled to appear in Dallas County court next month after being indicted in the 2025 shooting death of a 15-year-old boy at a Dallas gas station. Online court records showed that U.S. Marshals tracked Clark down months after that killing. Dallas County later allowed him to be released on a $100,000 bond with an ankle monitor. In June, the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office reported Clark for allegedly violating the electronic monitoring program by making unauthorized stops in Mesquite. An active warrant was issued for his arrest in early July. U.S. Marshals are now searching for Clark again, this time in connection with a second murder charge. Authorities said home surveillance video and license plate-reading cameras are assisting in the search. The victim, who had not yet been identified by the medical examiner’s office, died at the scene. Her family was too distraught to speak publicly with NBC 5 on Monday. “I’m not putting up with this. The Forney Police Department is not putting up with this type of violence. We will not. And we will do what we can to hunt down who we can in order to bring justice to the people,” White said.
