A 56 year old Spearfish, South Dakota, man died Sunday from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash Saturday (July 25, 2026) one mile east of Spearfish.   Names of the those involved have not been released pending notification of family members.   Preliminary crash information indicates the d river of a 1995 Harley Davidson was traveling west on I-90 when he started to lose control of the motorcycle and laid it down. In the process, he became separated from the motorcycle. The driver was taken to a Spearfish Hospital before being transferred to a Rapid City hospital.   The driver died from his injuries on Sunday, July 26, 2026.   The investigation is ongoing.
