Music starts at 7 p.m., with a different family-friendly themed night market starting at 5 p.m. before the performances.The Aug. 15 show includes Thunderstruck, a band that channels AC/DC, and Wicked Sensation, devoted to rock anthems of the ‘80s.The events kicks off with a summer luau, which includes hula dancing, lei and crown making and a visit from a Moana character.Aug. 29 kicks off with Community Service Night at 5 p.m., including Touch-A-Truck and Paws With a Purpose before music by Born Cross Eyed and Wolf.The Sept. 5 show starts with Vintage Vinyl Night, including vintage vendors and a car show. End of the Line and Magnolia Band are slated to play.The Animalpalooza Night Market starts at 5 p.m. Sept. 19, followed by bands Tony the Tanlines and The Swerve.Jeffersonville’s free Surfside Summer Jams series is every Thursday through September at The Depot at NoCo, 701 Michigan Ave.Doors are at 7 p.m. and D.J. Matt Anthony kicks off the shows with a vinyl set, with bands from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.Concerts in Warder Park in Jeffersonville continue Fridays at 7 p.m. through the end of August.Clarksville’s Good Times Summer Concert Series runs through October with music and food trucks at the Central Green outside the Bolt+Tie building, 1400 Main St. Events are from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.Soul Circus featuring The Swerve is scheduled for Sept. 12, with Cody Ikerd featuring Hank Rose Trie with Megan Stout on Oct. 17.Charlestown’s Music in the Park will be at the City Square from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 7 with Dox Holiday.Farmers marketsThe Jeffersonville Farmers Market includes local food, drink and crafts and live music every Saturday through October. They’re from 9 a.m. to noon at Big Four Station, 222 W. Market St.New Albany’s market at 202 E. Market St. is open Saturdays year-round, with shorter hours in winter. It's open from 8 a.m. to noon April 18 to Oct. 3, and from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 17 to April 10.The Charlestown Farmers Market is Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. through Sept. 23 at Community Presbyterian Church, 1370 Monroe St.The city’s Saturdays on the Square popup markets are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Aug. 29 and include music and vendors.Charlestown’s Second Saturday Night Market is 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Outward Bound Building, 359 Market St.Sellersburg’s next Speed Park Artisan Farmers Market is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 29.Floyds Knobs Farmers Market is Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Aug. 30, 411 Lafollette Station Floyds Knobs.The Georgetown Farmers Market is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays at the Georgetown Optimist Club, 8260 State Road 64.More cool things to check outThe Georgetown Drive-In, now in its 75th year, includes a concession stand and two big screens to watch your favorite summer flicks under the stars. It’s at 8200 State Road 64.The sixth annual SoIN Fun Trail from SoIN Tourism continues through Labor Day, where visitors and residents can score points and prizes by visiting top spots in Clark and Floyd counties.The free, digital passes include scavenger hunt-style check-ins and special deals from participating businesses. Prizes include a SoIn viewfinder and water bottle, with a Nintendo Switch 2 as the grand prize.Charlestown State Park includes multi-level skill hiking trails, a historic abandoned amusement park and events such as full moon hikes, walks to search for songbirds and spiders, and the chance to learn about fossils.There is a per-car fee to enter the park, with seasonal state parks passes available.The Ohio River Greenway is a trail for pedestrians, cyclists and skaters spanning three riverside communities in Southern Indiana.PoolsJeffersonville Aquatic Center, open through Labor Day (weekends only after Aug, 1) , 2107 Middle Rd.Clarksville Cove Family Aquatic Center, 800 S.
