LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WISH) — Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating after the body of an adult was found in the swimming lake at France Park in Logansport on Sunday. A release from the Department of Natural Resources said Cass County Central Dispatch received a report around 1:45 p.m. that an adult swimmer had gone missing. According to early information, the person had been swimming with family members but was not found after the group left the water. Recreational divers at the scene assisted in the search and located the unresponsive person in the lake. The release said emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures before transporting the person to Logansport Memorial Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
