Arlington police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a fatal shooting that left a 54-year-old man dead inside a pickup truck. Officers responded to the intersection of Highlander Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive just after 8:30 p.m. on Friday, where they found a picku p truck that had veered off the road into a grassy area. Inside the truck, officers found a 54-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses told police they saw the driver of another vehicle fire multiple shots at the victim before fleeing westbound on Highlander Boulevard. No arrests have been made.
