(CNN)– Waymo’s driverless cars are involved in far fewer crashes compared cars driven by human drivers, according to a new study. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety released the new findings. The study broke down crash rates in four cities from 2021 to 2024. Researchers found Waymos w ere involved in 68% fewer crashes than human drivers.
