INDIANAPOLIS Pacers and racers, again!The Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced Pacers forward Obi Toppin will serve as the honorary pace car driver for the Brickyard 400 on Sunday.Toppin will lead the field in a 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe 3LT a 495-horsepower machine that goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds.Selected eighth overall in the 2020 NBA Draft and a 2022 Slam Dunk Contest champion, Toppin joined the Pacers in 2023 and helped the team reach the Eastern Conference Finals in 2024 and the NBA Finals in 2025.Basketball and motorsports Pacers and racers go hand in hand in Indianapolis, said INDYCAR and IMS President J.
