Jul 24, 2026
Police in Philadelphia have shared surveillance footage in the hopes of tracking down a man who, police say, shot at another man in a Northeast Philly gas station during a fight over “skill machines.”
On Friday morning, police shared a video of the incident on social media.
According
to police, the incident in the video happened at about 5:15 a.m. on July 4, 2026, when the man seen in the video was engaged in an argument with another individual inside a gas station along the 10000 block of Frankford Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.
The argument, officials said, happened as the men were playing “skill machines” inside the store.
During this fight, one of the men produced a handgun and fired at the other individual, police said.
But, according to officials, the gunman missed and he then turned and fled the scene.
The man sought in this incident hopped into a GMC SUV before officers arrived at the gas station, officials said.
Police are asking anyone who may have information on this incident or may be able to help identify the man sought in this shooting to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Tip Line at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or the Northeast Detective Division at 215-686-3153/3154.
