Officials identified a New Jersey woman who they say was stabbed to death by her boyfriend who then took his own life. On Thursday, July 16, around 11:40 a.m., detectives with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office responded to the 500 block of Bilper Avenue in Lindenwold, New Jersey, for a repo rted stabbing. When they arrived, they found 53-year-old Marlene Carmichael of Lindenwold suffering from multiple stab wounds. About an hour later, Camden County police officers responded to the 1100 block of MacArthur drive in Camden, New Jersey. When they arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle who was suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The man — 64-year-old Harry Gibbs — was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:56 p.m. that afternoon.
