SpaceX is aiming to launch the Northrop Grumman Mission Robotic Vehicle and three Mission Extension Pods from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida Tuesday afternoon. According to Northrop Grumman, the MRV is a robotic spacecraft for satellite servicing missions and will install the MEPs, which the company describes as “jetpacks” that provide propulsion augmentation and satellite life-extension capabilities. SpaceX said a four-hour launch window will open at 5:15 p.m. ET, and if it cannot launch, there will be another opportunity scheduled for Wednesday at the same time. The launch will be the 32nd and final flight for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster because of the additional performance required to launch the payloads to geosynchronous transfer orbit.
