Were you a fraud victim? That ‘agent’ offering to help might be just another scam, FBI warns

The FBI is warning Americans of several new scams designed to convince targets that the FBI is helping them, when in reality, it’s part of the scam. That’s according to a public service announcement from the FBI’s actual Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) issued Monday.
