Advisors with the Gettysburg, Wall and Langford Area FFA Chapters in South Dakota will serve as National Teacher Ambassadors for the 2026-27 School Year.
National Teacher Ambassadors are agricultural educators who are trained to provide training and resources to other teachers across the country, as
well as serving as subject-matter experts for agricultural education.
Sarah McClure with Gettysburg FFA, AnnaMarie Sachs with Langford Area FFA and Meagan Ekberg with Wall FFA are among the 88 people from 37 different states chosen to serve as ambassadors for the upcoming school year.
National Teacher Ambassadors support more than 13,000 FFA advisors in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands during their year of service, which begins this month (July 2026). This year’s cohort includes more than 20 additional ambassadors from the previous year, adding even more opportunities to train up agriculture teachers through educational workshops and mentorship programs.
Ambassadors are also relied on for their advice on FFA educational resources. Twelve of them have been named Teacher Ambassador Mentors due to their previous experience in this role.
