An 18-year-old woman was shot in the chest during a robbery on a subway platform in Brooklyn, authorities say. According to police, the woman was standing on the downtown No. 2 train platform at the President Street-Medgar Evers College Station in Crown Heights around midnight. A man approache d and tried to take her purse. The two started to struggle. The man shot the woman in the chest and ran off with her bag. Video posted to the Citizen app showed chaos in the subway station after the shooting. People flood the platform with concern as police make their way to the victim on the ground.
