Four people were injured in a shooting near a Waffle House in Newark, Delaware, police said. According to Delaware State Police, troopers responded around 12:10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026, to the Waffle House on 1450 Pulaski Highway after receiving a report of a shooting. When troopers arri ved, they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police. Those victims were taken to a nearby hospital. A fourth victim later arrived at the hospital in a personal vehicle, police said. Police said all four victims, two men and two women, have serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
