Jul 17, 2026
Put on your blue suede shoes and get all shook up at “Vintage Vegas,” a new music and comedy tribute to Las Vegas’ greatest headliners, making its debut at Magooby’s Joke House on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m.
This show has a live 13-piece “little” big band, it has the jokes, and it h
as the hits: from Elvis to The Chairman (Frank Sinatra), Wayne (Newton), and Frankie (Valli). “Vintage Vegas” brings big laughs, big band energy, and big swagger.
It also brings home local talents who have made it anywhere: Elio Scaccio and Larry Noto.
Scaccio, one of The Sicilian Tenors, is from Perry Hall and has been singing his entire life, studying jazz vocal performance in college, followed by classical training at the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University. He is a crossover artist, singing multiple genres like classical, pop standards, Italian ethnic and occasionally, vintage rock.
Noto is from Bel Air and is an Emmy-nominated, professional stand-up comedian who has performed in Las Vegas and New York City. He has opened for headliners like Brad Garrett, Richard Lewis, Bob Saget and Jon Lovitz. He is the lead singer of Larry Noto The Little Big Band, which has performed at the Avena Maryland Italian Festival and the Charm City Fringe Festival. Noto is a multi-discipline talent, co-authoring “The Opening Act: Comedy, Life and the Desperate Pursuit of Happiness” with Kevin Cowherd, and acting in Dan Rodricks’ play, “No Mean City: Baltimore 1966.”
Together, the two will bring out the songs, stories and one-liners that will make the audience feel like they are in a Vegas showroom, with tunes that swing, punchlines that land and nostalgia that makes audiences smile.
General admission tickets are $40 and VIP tickets are $50. Tickets can be purchased on the Magooby’s Joke House website.
