Nebraska Task Force One Truck. (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR July 16)–Activation on Thursday of Nebraska’s Urban Search and Rescue Team, Task Force One, to severely flooded areas along the Guadalupe River in southern Texas, just northwest of San Antonio.

am members focused on water capabilities will help with rescue efforts. According to LFR, activation could be for 14 days initially but could be extended in certain circumstances. However, the team is prepared to be gone for two weeks.
LFR says most of the crew members being activated are from LFR, while 10 are from the Omaha Fire and Rescue, with other crew members from across the Missouri River in Council Bluffs, Iowa and some civilians.
