Courtesy of LPD/Crime Stoppers.LINCOLN–(KFOR July 15)–Crime Stoppers from Lincoln Police this week takes a look at a hit and run from June 27 at 63rd and Knox, where a vehicle was hit. Surveillance video footage was reviewed, which showed a small black Toyota Yaris was seen fleeing from the area , according to LPD forensics technician Becky Keller. She says the Yaris is reported to have a county license plate that would begin with a number, and that vehicle is now going to have some front-end damage to it, missing part or maybe even all of its front bumper. Also on June 27, at about 10:15pm, employees of the U-Stop near NW 1st and West Fletcher reported seeing a man coming into the store to buy alcohol. Keller says while the man was pulling out his credit card from his wallet, he apparently dropped a baggie with a white powdery substance. The substance tested positive for cocaine on initial testing. Keller says the man is described as a Hispanic male about 30 years old, arrived in a dark colored Ford Explorer. He had several tattoos on both arms.
