A Napa man was arrested after reports of gunfire at the Park Pointe Hotel in June, the South San Francisco police said on Saturday. Police said they received multiple calls of shots being fired at around 3:40 a.m. on June 28 at the hotel parking lot on 245 S. Airport Blvd., and arrived on scene within about two minutes. Authorities said the suspect, identified as Jose Basultollamas, was accused of firing a handgun into the air. Officials reported the suspect was located from witnesses and drone support. Police said the man briefly ran away and attempted to hide on the second floor of the hotel before being taken into custody without incident. Police said they recovered the loaded firearm, and no injuries were reported.
