Oklahoma City’s municipal golf courses enjoyed a record-breaking year, with golfers playing more than 370,000 rounds during fiscal year 2026, the highest total in the city’s history. The milestone reflects the continued popularity of the city’s six public golf courses and ongoing investments to improve facilities and the player experience. City officials say the record comes as participation in golf continues to grow both locally and nationwide. Recent improvements to Oklahoma City’s golf system, including course renovations, updated amenities and expanded programming, have helped attract both longtime golfers and newcomers to the game. OKC Golf operates six municipal courses: Earlywine Golf Club, Lake Hefner Golf Club, Lincoln Park Golf Course, Trosper Golf Club, James E. Stewart Golf Course and Winter Creek Golf Social Club. Officials expect interest in the city’s golf facilities to remain strong as improvements continue and participation in the sport grows.
