Surveillance video shows police response after man shot in Jeep in West Philly

A woman has been taken into police custody, officials said, after a man was shot multiple times inside a Jeep moving through West Philadelphia early Thursday.
According to police, the incident happened around 3:08 a.m., when gunfire erupted inside a Jeep traveling at the intersection of North 59t
h and Vine streets in West Philly.
At that time, a 33-year-old man in the Jeep was struck multiple times by gunfire to his lower body, police told NBC10.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where, police said in a morning update, he was listed in stable condition.
Surveillance footage obtained by NBC10’s Lili Zheng shows how the police responded to the incident in the early hours of Thursday.
After the incident, officers who responded to the shooting apprehended a 37-year-old woman at the scene. Police have not said what changes she may face.
Officials did not immediately say what may have led to this incident and they did not say what the relationship there may have been between the victim and the suspected shooter.
But, officials said, an investigation into this incident is ongoing.
