A man was fatally shot by a group of people in Woodlawn Wednesday night, according to Chicago police.The man, 34, was standing outside in the 6700 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue at 7:20 p.m. when people exited two SUVs, one gray and one white, and began firing in his direction, police said.
