The Walworth County Commission held a regular meeting on Wednesday, July 8th. Landfill Commissioner Duane Mohr informed the commission about upcoming CPR training for landfill employees and installing an AED machine.  Mohr also asked for a moment of silence in memory of landfill employee Bryce Hepp er. Highway Walworth County Highway Superintendent Tom Hannan told the commissioners core testing on the Sitka Road began on Tuesday (July 7th) but was slowed by the weather. The commissioners approved the blading of city streets in Java using the County blade on off time.
